Las comunidades femeninas latinoamericanas de Amazon Web Services (AWS), desde México hasta Argentina, junto a entusiastas en la tecnología y líderes de la industria se reunieron el 29 de marzo en nuestro espacio de innovación y emprendimiento Open PUCP para aprender, conectar y empoderarse en el AWSome Women Summit Latam 2025. Se trató de la tercera edición de este evento y la que más personas ha congregado, con más de 700. “Estoy muy contenta de ver a tantas mujeres juntas.

"I am from Mexico." This a phrase that at least most of my friends and close community are very proud of. As Mexicans and Latinos, we are constantly described as cheerful (and noisy) people, with a free and energetic spirit with tons of hopes and dreams to come true. Accurately, all of that is true. Yet, what people sometimes miss is the entrepreneurial spirit within Mexicans and the Latino communities.

"Which country will become the more dominant economic power in the 21st century? I now have the answer: Mexico." This was the opinion of Thomas Friedman, NY Times columnist and Pulitzer Prize-winning author in 2013, after his visit to Mexico's industrial and innovation center, Monterrey. What did he find in this visit to my city, Monterrey? That everything you hear about Mexico is true: corruption in all levels of government, drug cartels, weak rule of law and crime.
