1 Introduction Insectivorous bat species play a crucial role in our ecosystems, suppressing insect populations and distributing nutrients (Agosta 2002; Kunz et al. 2011; Russo et al. 2018). Their diverse behaviors, roosting habits, and feeding strategies (Simmons and Conway 2003) result in a wide range of consumed arthropod orders, with their prey ranging from 1 mm to above 50 mm in size (Kunz et al. 2011; Aihartza et al. 2024).
