Today at 10:11 PM Netflix has introduced HDR10 Plus support for its Premium plan subscribers, allowing Samsung TV owners to experience enhanced 4K HDR quality. This move caters to Samsung's lack of Dolby Vision support, which uses dynamic metadata for optimized viewing. HDR10 Plus, similar to Dolby Vision, adjusts tone mapping on a scene-by-scene basis but avoids Dolby's royalty fees.
