Imaging findings in a case of severe chronic osteomyelitis
A 12-year-old girl, originally from Gambia, presented with 12 months’ history of pain in her left hip. She described a steady deterioration in mobility, intermittent fever and weight loss following a blunt trauma injury, which triggered the onset of pain. She required crutches to mobilise and had fixed flexion deformity of the left hip. There was atrophy of the left thigh and calf muscles. Swelling was seen over the left sacroiliac joint and she was tender over the left pelvic and inguinal regions.

The Value of Using Harry Potter to Teach Politics
It’s pretty clear by this point that J.K. Rowling just can’t let Harry Potter go. In addition to frequently posting new material on her Pottermore site (some of which has been quite badly received), she’s written a new play that promises to continue the story of the fateful trio. “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” which premiers July 30th in London, is set 19 years after the events of the last book.
Harry Potter casts a spell on accident prone children
Methods and results We undertook a retrospective review of all children aged 7-15 who attended our emergency department with musculoskeletal injuries over the summer months of a three year period. Weekend admissions were counted as those occurring between 8 am on Saturday and 8 am on Monday. The age range was based on that of reading competence on the advice of an educationalist.
