THE accusations of racism and the negative C4 coverage targeted at Reform UK, for which I am standing in the general election as candidate for Edmonton and Winchmore Hill, cannot be allowed to pass unchallenged. The language of racism has become a cancer in our discourse. As someone who grew up in the late 60s and 70s, I recall incidents where a black boy’s actions were unfairly generalised to all of us as if we were a homogeneous group.
