1 Introduction Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) are medications used in the management of cardiovascular and renal diseases, including heart failure, coronary syndromes, chronic kidney disease and hypertension [1]. Despite the beneficial effects of ACEIs, there are mild to severe adverse drug reactions (ADRs) associated with their intake, some of which may be life-threatening [1, 2].
