UPDATE: 5:33 p.m. A 32-year-old Kelowna man who was reported missing on June 10 has been found deceased in Lake Country. Police say the man was located during search efforts in the area. RCMP do not suspect criminality in his death, and the investigation has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service.

UPDATE: 3:25 p.m. A serious head-on collision involving a semi-truck and a sedan has forced the closure of Highway 1 east of Salmon Arm for most of Saturday. Salmon Arm RCMP responded to the crash at approximately 7:08 a.m. on June 13 near Kangaroo Road. Police say the collision involved a semi-truck with a trailer and a rental Toyota Corolla carrying four occupants.
