Leave it to a band so thematically focused on the future to lean into the past to make their best record yet. Genghis Tron popularized the cybergrind genre 20 years ago with Dead Mountain Mouth and Board Up the House, smashing together industrial, grindcore, though careful ears heard a lot more nuance in those records than simply reveling in the fact that it sounded like Nine Inch Nails, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Full of Hell wanted to soundtrack our dystopian hellscape.
