Beaches, Modernisme architecture, tapas, natural wine, and a walkable Old Town make Sitges an irresistible seaside escape just 40 minutes from Barcelona. STIGES, Spain — Does the ideal beach town exist? I’ve clocked countless hours by the sea on a quest to find it, from Palm Beach to Portofino, but I haven't come close to the experience I’d want to repeat day after day, summer after summer. Until, that is, I went to Sitges.
