What was your first job as a journalist?
My first staff photojournalist position was with the Austin American-Statesman.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
The only time I've used a typewriter was in my dad's office in the early 2000s.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I graduated with a class of 37 people, so I became the Student Media Director & published online, as it was too small of a school for a paper
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of the project I'm working on about a migrant tobacco worker from Mexico who supports his family with his work in the U.S.
