The first headliners of Edinburgh Summer Sessions have been announced. Tom Jones, Rag'n'Bone Man, Paloma Faith and Kasabian will play Princes St Gardens during the Fringe festival this August. The run of gigs - a sister event to Glasgow Summer Sessions at Bellahouston Park - will take place at the Ross Bandstand with Edinburgh Castle as its backdrop. Presale for the summer shows starts on Wednesday, February 21 with general sale from Friday, February 23.
An anti-abortion group sparked outrage after fly-posting an appeal for volunteers near primary schools. The pro-life organisation posters call for people to "help save lives in Glasgow" and appeals for volunteers to take part in anti-abortion protests outside local clinics. One mum noticed posters from the 40 Days For Life group as she dropped her kids off at school on Monday morning. She said "four or five" posters had been put up along a footpath between Merrylee and OLA Primary school.
The rape of a child is being investigated by police in Angus. The attack is alleged to have taken place in Abroath. A force spokeswoman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that it has received a report of serious sexual assault in Arbroath. "As this is an ongoing investigation it would be inappropriate to comment further on the inquiry. Muck Rack's Advanced Search allows for many boolean operators.
Find results that mention multiple specified terms, use AND or
+. For example, ensure each result contains both Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg by
searching Musk AND Zuckerberg or Musk + Zuckerberg.
Use the operators OR or , to broaden your search when you'd like either of
multiple terms to appear in results. (This is the default behavior of our search when no operators

Use NOT or - to subtract results from your search. For

When using one of these operators with a phrase, enclose it in quotation marks. For example, you can

Exact case matching or punctuation
If you're searching for a brand name or keyword that relies on specific punctuation marks or capitalization, you can
find results that match your exact query by adding matchcase: before the keyword you're searching for, like matchcase:E*TRADE .
Use parentheses to separate multiple
boolean phrases. For example, to find journalists talking about having fun in Disney World or
Disneyland, search for ("disney world" OR disneyland) AND fun.
An asterisk can be used to search for any variation of a root word truncated by the asterisk. For example, searching for admin* will return results for administrator, administration, administer, administered, etc.
A near operator is an AND operator where you can control the distance between the words. You can vary the distance the near operation uses by adding a forward slash and number (between 0-99) such as strawberries NEAR/10 "whipped cream", which means the strawberries must exist within 10 words of "whipped cream".
