Move Out OR Get Sued
Some parents in New York are taking their 30 year son to court, after he refused to move out of their home countless times. In fact, they are suing him and taking him to Supreme Court at the end of this month. They’ve tried eviction notices, offering him $1100, but he feels they haven’t given him enough time or notice.
If you owe, or are owed child/spousal support, you should know changes could be coming in the next couple of months! The BC Government is looking at making it harder for you to drive if you owe money for child or spousal support. In fact, if you owe $3000 or more your drivers license could be cancelled.Â If you don’t make payments, you could also be in a position where you can’t renew your passport. Will this help? Maybe, but some people have some legitimate concerns with this new legislation.
If you’ve ever left your dogs ‘business’ on someones lawn hoping no one would notice, you should know that could be very difficult to do in the future. A new companies looking at moving in, making it harder for you to deny you didn’t just leave your dogs stuff without picking it up. Landlords, strata, and property management companies are working with a company called PooPrints Dog DNA, which will be able to tell whose dog left their business, and what owners didn’t pick it up.
