Miniserie de ocho capítulos basada en el escándalo financiero Cum-Ex, acontecido en su momento más álgido entre 2005 y 2012, aunque algunas de las prácticas fraudulentas se remontan a los años 90, y que afectó hondamente a Alemania y Dinamarca, precisamente los países coproductores de esta versión ficcionada. El nombre proviene de la expresión latina cum/ex (“con/sin”), que aludía a la compraventa de acciones con o sin derecho a dividendo en fechas muy próximas a la distribución de estos.
