Research Article PHYSICAL SCIENCES INTRODUCTION Ferroelectric tunnel junction (FTJ) memristors, due to the simple structure, low-power consumption, and simple weight update scheme, hold promising potential for applications in memory and neuromorphic computing (1–5). In general, FTJs are fabricated on the basis of ultrathin epitaxial ferroelectric oxides (6–10) with rigid substrate (named as epitaxial FTJ) for their high ferroelectric polarization and better stability.
