Ashok Leyland has won a significant legal victory against the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), with an arbitral tribunal awarding the company ₹222.65 crore plus interest over a bus-supply dispute dating back to 2009-11. In a regulatory filing on July 13, 2026, Ashok Leyland disclosed that the Arbitral Tribunal in New Delhi passed a majority award on July 6, 2026, partly allowing Ashok Leyland's claim while rejecting DTC's entire counterclaim of ₹136 crore.
