Robintrack Newsletter (6/8/2020)

Robintrack Newsletter (6/8/2020)

Robintrack — I started the Robintrack Newsletter to predominately cover how millennials and Gen Zer traders are putting their money to work. In collaboration with robintrack.net, I aimed to create a data-centric weekly newsletter. In this edition, we covered weed stocks, publicly-traded companies making a COVID vaccine, and an ETF betting on sports gambling.

Robintrack Newsletter (6/15/2020)

Robintrack — For the Robintrack newsletter in the week 6/15/2020, I covered how retail investors were piling into EV, tech, travel, and gas/oil companies using datasets from robintrack.net. I specifically observe trends in specific products which were making big moves since the last publication of the newsletter.

Robintrack Newsletter (6/26/2020)

Robintrack — This special edition of the Robintrack newsletter took a step in the direction of what I would later start covering in Business As Usual, the followup to the Robintrack newsletter. In this edition, I contextualized the growth of Robinhood as a trading platform during the crisis to help provide insight into what stock growth meant. I also was ahead of the curve by talking about the embrace of SPACs/blank check companies on public markets months before major finance journals started writing about the craze.

Robintrack Newsletter (7/6/2020)

Robintrack — Covered the surge in food delivery stocks amidst the M&A activity involving Grubhub (bought by Just Eat Takeaway) and Postmates (bought by Uber). Also took time to cover the momentum in 'midsized tech' companies looking for a space in major indices (Square and Tesla).

Robintrack Newsletter (7/20/2020)

Robintrack — A brief look into the companies making COVID vaccines and treatments. Unsurprisingly, tech is still tech - briefly touch on the valuation bubble which I will bring up in the founding edition of Business As Usual.

What Happens When Big Tech Trips Up?

What Happens When Big Tech Trips Up?

Business As Usual — For the first edition of Business As Usual (f/k/a Robintrack), I point out how the accelerated rise of valuations in Big Tech companies might be to the detriment of much of America's investment accounts. I also take some time to summarize the judgments against Big Tech and why this might cause problems; sum it up by asking if index funds are worth the risk anymore.

Bullish Rippers Series on Public.com

Bullish — On August 6, I started writing a tri-weekly summary of stocks over $300m market caps hitting a 52-week high. The Bullish Rippers list is meant to identify stocks making big moves and the underlying reason why those moves are being made. It is posted on bullish.news and Public.com every M/W/F.
