He was the first mayor to forgo the annual Jewish pride event since it’s inception back in 1964. The progressive Democratic Socialist, who assumed office in January defended his choice to not march as a political stance against the Jewish nation’s current leadership and it’s war in Gaza.

The socialist mayor, who ran on a campaign of  “taxing the rich” to help fix the big apple’s biggest financial problems, finds himself in very public back and forth with Citadel hedge fund CEO, Ken Griffin.
