Leading the way offensively, as he has for most of the season, was junior shooting guard Max Frey, who put up 19 points in the blowout. “We want to stay consistent moving on to these next, I think it’s five games left, big games,” Frey said.

But when you put on the performances that Morgantown quarterback Maddox Twigg did throughout the 2025 season, it’s well deserved. In the Class AAAA Championship Game against back-to-back defending state champion Martinsburg last week, Twigg tallied 316 yards and four touchdowns.
