The AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, India last week Last week, the world’s digital architects gathered in New Delhi for the India AI Impact Summit 2026. The rhetoric was, as expected, grand. India’s prime minister Narendra Modi unveiled his “MANAV” vision: a mnemonic for systems that are Moral, Accountable, and Valid. It is a compelling vision. The trouble is, we are nowhere near it. Indeed, in one domain in particular, AI is becoming less moral and accountable by the day.
