Nicole Rojas’s Biography

After a brief stint as a freelance reporter, I have returned to the newsroom as IBTimes UK's East Coast Correspondent.

I have several years of traditional newsroom experience, both on the web and in print. In August 2012, I joined Latinos Media Group as a general news reporter. After leading the publication's coverage of the 2012 presidential elections and of Superstorm Sandy, I was promoted to editor.

In March 2013, I took over the Entertainment section, the highest traffic earning section of the website. I also served as the bilingual copy editor for the Latin America staff.

In October 2013, I became editor of the joint U.S. and Entertainment sections. During my time as U.S. and Entertainment Editor, I was also responsible for hiring several freelancers.

Prior to my time at Latinos Media Group, I held several internships covering local, domestic and international news. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University in 2012.
