I am Nyla Brown, founder and curator of NylaHome, a platform exploring architecture, luxury real estate, and interior design through the homes of the world’s most influential figures.

What was your first job as a journalist?

My first role as a journalist was creating independent long form features focused on residential design and renovation, where I analyzed home layouts, materials, and interior transformations rather than reporting traditional news.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I am most proud of building and refining NylaHome’s in depth celebrity home features, where I combined architectural analysis with cultural context to move beyond surface level coverage and establish a trusted design led voice.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

When I am not at a computer, I am usually visiting show homes, design studios, or spending time in architectural spaces that spark inspiration, often with a notebook in hand.
