I expected something like this, but the reality far exceeded my expectations. I opened the bottle, and the powerful scent of the fragrance overwhelmed me. It seemed to me that I was flying and then falling into a hot, humid, fragrant darkness, so dense that there seemed no difference between the blackness under the closed eyelids and all this surrounding blackness.

Deliberating over what to deem worthy of my list this season wasn’t easy, new releases were booming by the end of 2022. After very successful editions of Esxence, Pitti Fragranze, TFWA and BeautyWorld Middle East in Dubai, it took me a while to check out some of the best new fragrances of this year. Since I really didn't explore as much as I wanted to, I’m sure there are tons of exquisite fragrances out there still needing to be discovered.
