3.3. Curved Fin 3.3.1. Design Case C1 Figure 11 shows the variation of the curved fin midpoint length with optimal spacing for the fin upper and lower lengths of 100 mm. As can be seen in Figure 11a, as the fin’s midpoint length increased, the heat sink experienced a reduced thermal resistance, thus increasing the overall heat transfer of the system.
