German Federal Court of Justice Permits Forcible Use of Fingerprint To Unlock Smartphone

In a recent landmark decision, the German Federal Court of Justice (BGH) addressed whether law enforcement authorities were entitled to unlock a suspect's smartphone by forcibly using their fingerprint.
