In pictures: Hundreds take the knee in support of Black Lives Matter in Lytham
Protesters made their way to Lytham Green to show support for the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. The socially distanced protests saw people from across the Fylde coast take the knee in solidarity after the death of George Floyd in America. Mr Floyd, 46, died on May 25 in Minneapolis while being detained by officers who accused him of using a counterfeit $20 note. His death has sparked international outrage, with thousands gathering across the UK to protest for the Black Lives Matter movement.
