In Cook County, the Des Plaines River Trail has the potential to connect key destinations such as the Illinois Prairie Path, the Salt Creek Trail, the Medical District, the CTA Blue Line, and the Brookfield Zoo.
National Girls Performer Of The Week (2/6-2/12)
- - - Cady McPhail of Chelsea (AL) continued to dominate this indoor season as she won her third National Girls Performer Of The Week honor. Over the weekend, the Auburn signee pulled together with the distance triple in the 800m, 1,600m and 3,200m at the Alabama 7A Indoor State Championships. Throughout the busy day, she clocked a 2:11, 4:57 and set a new personal best in the 3,200m with a 10:56.
