USG Water Solutions, a provider of water asset management services across North America, has been acquired by Warren Equity Partners from Turnspire Capital Partners LLC. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. USG provides water asset management services for municipal and private water customers throughout North America.

HOCHTIEF has been awarded a contract by SachsenEnergie to design and construct a river water treatment plant in Dresden, Germany, aimed at supplying industrial water to the region's semiconductor sector. The facility will draw water from the Elbe River and is expected to begin supplying industrial users from 2030. Dresden is home to one of Europe's largest semiconductor industry clusters. The contract is valued in the three-digit million euro range.

Northumbrian Water istrialling AI-powered acoustic sensors on water pipes across the North East of England to detect leaks before they become visible at ground level. The six-month trial, which began in November 2025, is being conducted in partnership with FIDO Tech, a technology company specialising in leak detection.
