What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a journalist means to be the first line of defence again misinformation and revision of historical facts and live events.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Show me an image of the end goal -- be certain about what you want to get out of that story.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Quite a number of them; Crowdtangle, Twitter or X, WeVerify, Google Tools, WordPress, Adobe Premiere, just to name a few.

Instagram these days.

In the University, circa 2009

Too many cant choose
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be a generalist for a few years; I'd recommend two to three years, before you start to zone into a specific beat.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That its all about numbers and technical tools; it is indeed all about people and their daily choices.
