Yes. From Royal to Selectric. I still type two fingered so the key strike will through the 5 plys of script paper. I kill keyboards fast!

Too little vetting, but it's so powerfully fast

What does it mean to be a journalist?
Motion, emotion. Action, reaction. What you see is what you say. The good stuff goes up top. All the rest is showbiz. Storytelling!
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Face to face over a beer, but email works fairly well.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Windows, lasers, spacecraft, wheels, levers, and all flavors of sound and images in between

I remeber when being social didn't require a network.
Why did you become a journalist?
I thought journalists were the bards of a generation. We must fight against becoming jesters
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My Shuttle story is the only one I ever produced just for me and not a client/employer. It was fun and personal.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Whether pitchting, writing or presenting a story. Remember your audience. I may change more than you think.
