What is already known about this subject Combined overdoses of dihydropyridine calcium channel antagonists and renin–angiotensin system antagonists are known to cause significant haemodynamic instability. High-dose insulin therapy acts as an inotrope with vasodilator effects in managing cardiotoxic drug poisoning. What this study adds Dihydropyridine calcium channel antagonists cause hypotension that can primarily be managed with vasopressors.
