Otto Hostettler

Otto Hostettler is a seasoned journalist with over 30 years of experience. Since 2007, he's been an editor and reporter at the Observer, tackling hard-hitting topics like white-collar crime, pharmaceutical industry abuses, consumer issues, and the plight of victims affected by coercive welfare programs and the Catholic Church.

His dedicationto investigative journalism has been recognized with several awards, including the prestigious Zurich Journalists' Prize in 2011 for his work highlighting the struggles of foster and institutionalized children.
Hostettler's expertise extends beyond the newsroom. He's also the author of two insightful books: "Underground Economy: How Cybercriminals Threaten the Economy and States" and "Darknet: The Shadow World of the Internet," both published by NZZ Libro/FAZ Buch.
