Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis has approved in its first reading a draft law aimed at strengthening state oversight of seismic resistance and the seismic safety of buildings and structures. During the discussion, Deputy Prosecutor General Dilmurod Kasimov reported that over the past two years, of 11,800 newly constructed apartment buildings inspected, 1,434 failed to obtain registration.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed the law “On the Circulation of Fireworks.” The law defines fireworks as devices designed to produce optical, acoustic, electrical, or other visual effects through combustion or explosion. Fireworks are classified by hazard level from Class I to Class V, taking into account risk zones and potential environmental damage.

In the final group-stage match, the Uzbek team defeated South Korea 2-0. The opening goal came in the 48th minute from Behruz Karimov, and in the 70th minute, Saidumarxon Saidnurullaev doubled Uzbekistan’s lead.
