1 Introduction Nasal obstruction is a common symptom among patients referred to otorhinolaryngologists, with a variety of underlying causes, both anatomical and structural. Causes include septal deviation, nasal polyps, inferior turbinate hypertrophy, chronic rhinosinusitis and both allergic and non-allergic rhinitis [1]. Nasal obstruction can significantly impact health-related quality of life (HRQOL), leading to additional symptoms such as loss of smell and taste and impaired sleep quality [2].
