West Milford - 2019, 2021, 2022, and now 2023. Wayne Hills won their fourth consecutive Passaic County gymnastics championship (2020 was cancelled due to COVID) eking out crosstown rival Wayne Valley by a tenth of a point, 97.100-97.000, at West Milford High School. While Hills' performance was not as dominant as last year's, when, the now graduated, Jacqueline Bernard won every individual event title for Wayne Hills, the Patriots used a total team effort to secure this year's crown.

Wayne, N.J. - With a final score of 96.55 - 95.15, the Wayne Valley gymnastics team pulled out a victory over rival Wayne Hills by a margin almost as small as the, roughly, 3.5 miles that separates the two schools. Wayne Valley was led by Julianna Cannici who took top honors in the all-around and floor exercise while Wayne Hills was paced by Reagan Donofrio who finished second in the all-around, vault, and floor. While Valley took victories in every event, a Hills gymnast was not far behind.
