1 Introduction Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains a leading cause of death globally, accounting for over 17 million deaths annually [1]. Major behavioral risk factors for CVD include physical inactivity, unhealthy diet, and harmful use of alcohol and tobacco [1]. The effects of these risk factors may manifest in individuals as high blood pressure, high blood glucose, overweight and obesity.
