3. Results 3.1. Baseline Recorded Characteristics in CKD Patients The baseline characteristics in all, non-dialysis, and dialysis patients that participated in the current investigation are provided in Supplementary Table S1. The mean (SD) age was 57.7 (14.0) years, and 37.4% were female. At the time of the study, hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, and smoking were present in 90.4%, 79.8%, 34.8%, and 2.6% of the enrolled patients, respectively.
