The man accused of being the getaway driver in a March robbery pled guilty Thursday. In a court filing, prosecutors alleged that Adam Jason Penarrieta Azim, 18, drove two 15-year-olds to The Filling Co gas station in Brambleton late on the evening of March 4. Penarrieta Azim “idled in a housing development” nearby while the two juveniles held up the store with airsoft guns manufactured to look like real firearms.

A Loudoun County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court judge on Thursday ordered that Elijah Bieniemy undergo a competency evaluation. Bieniemy is charged with malicious wounding and two gun offenses in the July 26 shooting of his mother, Mia, on Northpark Drive in One Loudoun. Bieniemy is the son of Kansas City Chiefs Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy.

A man who fled from pursuing Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Sterling on July 22 was detained by Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office deputies July 24 at the county courthouse and turned over to ICE. A viral video obtained by Loudoun Now shows a pickup truck being pursued by unmarked police vehicles turn onto Sherwood Court in Sterling on the morning of July 22.
