Patrick Svitek is a reporter for the Texas Tribune in Austin, Texas. He covers state politics, the Texas Legislature and the role of Texas in the 2016 presidential race.

Svitek previously worked in the Austin bureau of the Houston Chronicle, where he also covered politics.
