What was your first job as a journalist?
My first job as a journalist was working (and I continue to work) as a ghostwriter for magazines covering topics related to wine, food, and travel.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Of course, back when I was a teenager, but alas, it says a lot about my age! Haha.

Networking is essential in journalism. Build your network and relationships.

It's always the right time.

The worst? There are many, but what I can say is: I look for stories, not advertising.

Really? Wine, of course
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Probably in a winery tasting wine, or in an "agriturismo" or trattoria, or out in nature somewhere in northern Italy.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
My favorite publication revolves around topics related to wine, travel, and food. I'm addicted to anything that delves into these realms!
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
The most common misperception about the wine industry is that it is elitist and reserved only for experts.
