Before they closed the Food City store that was on Rossville Blvd., every Saturday morning I’d drive down the street past this purple building with colorful drawings on the outside, Chubby’s Bar-B-Q, but it was always closed. I later learned they’re only open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. The reviews mentioned great barbeque, friendly staff, large portions and fantastic breakfast. I thought it was time to check it out.

Chattanooga’s Riverfront District is a vibrant downtown, 13-mile, walkable area of outdoor recreation, dining, and attractions along the Tennessee River. Anchored by the Tennessee Aquarium and Ross’ Landing, this area is the epicenter of downtown activity, featuring the Tennessee Riverwalk and close access to the Bluff View Art District. The border runs from Walnut Street west to US-27 and from the riverfront down to 4th Street.
