British two-time Olympic medallist Asha Philip has announced her retirement from athletics. The 35-year-old was part of the 4x100m relay teams that won bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympics and 2020 Tokyo Games. After a 19-year career which involved Philip overcoming a serious knee injury in 2007, she leaves the sport having won multiple world, European and Commonwealth medals alongside her Olympic success. "Sport has been a way of life and I am so grateful for everything it has given me," said Philip.
