PROVINCETOWN — Charges for usage of Provincetown’s municipal water system, which serves 3,624 accounts in Provincetown and 537 in North Truro, were hiked by a unanimous vote of the water and sewer board on June 10. Contractors working on the rehabilitation of the 2.6-million-gallon Mount Gilboa water storage tank in June. The tank will not actually be drained until the fall so that it can hold reserve gallons for peak summertime usage, Water Supt. Cody Salisbury said.
