The annual event takes place on Saturday, June 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, June 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets on Saturday are discounted to $5.00. On Sunday, tickets are $9.00 for adults and $8.00 for youth-which is the regular admission price to the science center. Admission is free for active military and their children.

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)- A person died and several others were injured when an outside tent at East Lake Community Church failed after a storm. Bedford County officials say around 6:45 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, a large tent collapsed during an outdoor service at East Lake Community Church. Eleven individuals were transported to local hospitals by ambulance, while eleven others were treated at the scene for minor injuries. One person died at the scene of the collapse.

(WFXR)- Severe weather in Moneta reportedly resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries when an outside tent at EastLake Community Church collapsed, according to Bedford County officials. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. while a large 20th anniversary event was happening in a 2100 square foot tent behind the church. According to Bedford County officials, the incident was a result of a severe storm cell that moved through the area.
