Questions about cameras built by Louis Gandolfi

I have two un-named half-plate tailboard cameras. After looking them over very carefully I know that one, made from mahogany and well used, was built by Louis Gandolfi because it is stamped 'L Gandolfi Maker' underneath the bellows on the underside of an inaccessible piece of wood, although this does require a dentist's mirror to read. The other is VERY similar indeed and shares so many similar characteristics (even the back is interchangable) that I am sure that it too was built by Louis.

Looking for roll film holder information

I have an odd Gandolfi Tailboard camera. The rear has ground glass which is 3" x 4" and it is in a slide which pulls out to allow a roll film holder to slide in instead. The width of the section which slides in is 3 5/8" or 92mm and the runners allow for a thickness of 1/2" or 1.2~3mm. Its almost certainly an early (Louis) built Gandolfi so pre-1930 I would guess and possible earlier.

Looking for early photos of the Menai Suspension and Britannia Tubular Bridges

This year is the 200th anniversary of the first stone being laid for the construction of the Menai Suspension Bridge. This predates photography but as a trustee of Menai Heritage I'm interested in finding any early photographic images of either of the bridges which span the Menai Strait. We have some 1860s stereo images but nothing prior to this, although we are aware that images do exist.
