People no longer wait for prime time news on TV or radio because they already know what is happening through social media pages.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

None. I am yet to identify one yet.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Being looked upon by the public to provide information, spread knowledge and pursue justice.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

On the fields I have I have passion and interest

Wordpress, Canvas, Google analytics, Google trends, Typeform, AMP

Why did you become a journalist?

Passion and interest in being at the forefront to disseminate information to the public. Being the voice of the people.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I was a sports and entertainment writer

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

A feature story of a young man who is from a humble background and therefore could not raise his fees. He had to be a guard at night.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Be original. Be consistent. Be creative and work smart. Journalists are driven by passion, not payslips!

When's the best time to pitch you?

Anytime. I am mostly behind my computer thus available to provide feedback as soon as possible.

Lemon water

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

In the field, doing research and interviews, reading books, history and conspiracy theories. At times at the theater!

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

People think writing is easy, just a walk in the park.
