To the Editor: I am reaching out as a very concerned Connecticut resident upset that Republican legislators won’t support common sense gun legislation. Why do Connecticut Republicans put the rights of gun owners ahead of the rights of our children? Quite frankly, this is unacceptable to the majority of the voters in our state who realize that common sense legislation protects our very vulnerable young people.
