While the nationwide anti-illegal immigration protest action on 30 June delivered less chaos and disruption than had been feared, businesses are still counting the cost of closing or downscaling for a day. And while the protests were handled better by law enforcement than the civil unrest of July 2021, the financial impact will still be felt.
