5. Conclusions and Suggestions Based on the panel data of 30 provinces and cities across the country from 2011 to 2019, this paper uses the entropy method to measure the development levels of the digital economies in each province and explores the impact of digital economy development on energy intensity. The main conclusions are as follows: First, there are obvious regional differences in the energy intensities and digital economy development in all provinces and cities in China.
