In 2000, he suffered a violent attack with an iron bar, leading to more than twelve surgeries over the years, with the most recent in 2022. When conventional treatments failed to heal the infection that followed, he turned to discipline, sports science, and the expertise of his trusted network. Through consistent training six days a week, he rebuilt his health. In 2006–2007, he applied alternative methods to help extend his mother’s life by over 15 years, solidifying his belief that there was a better way to care for people. That belief became the foundation for Kokoon’s mission and growth.
Before founding Kokoon, Per Jacob dedicated years to coaching high-performance soccer teams across Europe. Managing athletes under pressure taught him discipline, adaptability, and the ability to unite people with diverse personalities toward common goals. These early experiences equipped him with the leadership skills, team-building strategies, and decision-making abilities that now guide Kokoon’s operations.
Under his leadership, Kokoon Global Inc. has grown into a debt-free and cash-rich company that owns all of its assets outright. Without lenders, the company has the independence to operate according to its mission: to bring dignity and measurable results to healthcare. The company’s expansion continues with ambitious plans. In May 2025, construction began on a 23-surgical-room clinic in the Canary Islands. This project will help fund and accelerate the development of the Miami Medical Resort, a unique concept that merges luxury living with advanced medical care. Kokoon also plans to establish satellite centers across all U.S. states and pursue dual stock exchange listings in Norway and the United States. All growth is carefully managed within the company’s cash flow, ensuring financial stability and agility.
