Story Peppermint Narwhal celebrates conservation through creativity to promote animal awareness and appreciation. This time we're celebrating chondrichthyes... Chondrichthyes is a class that contains the cartilaginous fishes of the world including sharks, rays, skates, sawfishes and chimeras. The skeletons of these fishes are made of cartilage, the same organic material found in your nose, ears and windpipe (trachea). Cartilaginous fishes can be found in all the world’s oceans.
